Vernacular Names: Lesser Hylomyscus.
Distribution: N and E Dem. Rep. Congo, S Central African Republic, N Gabon, and S Cameroon ( Dudu et al., 1989).
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: A distinctive species discussed by Dudu et al. (1989). Regularly trapped, although in small numbers, in Makokou, Gabon ( Duplantier, 1989).
