Holotype: White label 1 stating collection locality as “Gularghatti, Dehradun, U.P. [ INDIA: Uttar Pradesh (Uttarakhand)], S.N. Chatterjee, 5. vii. 1929 ”. White label 2 stating “ Ex. Unknown climbers”. White label 3 stating “ J. B. Corporaal, Type, Tenerus femoralis n sp. Red label 4 stating “Type”.

Remarks. Left hind leg is missing.

Paratypes: Four paratypes are present in NFIC: i) White label 1 stating collection locality as “Gularghatti, Dehradun, U.P. [ INDIA: Uttar Pradesh (Uttarakhand)], S. N. Chatterjee, 7–11. vi. 1929 ”. White label 2 stating “ J. B. Corporaal, Paratype, Tenerus femoralis . ” Green label 3 stating “ Paratype ” .
