Lectotype (Jessop in Bothalia 9: 68. 1966): Herb. Linn. No. 434.6 ( LINN) .

Current name: Protasparagus aethiopicus (L.) Oberm. View in CoL ( Liliaceae / Asparagaceae ).

Note: Although Jessop believed the designated type to have been unavailable to Linnaeus in 1767, it appears, in fact, to be original material for the name, and is therefore accepted as a lectotype (under Art. 9.8).
