Pinned, left antennal segments IIa–IV, left fore leg apicad of middle of femur, and right hind tarsus missing; deposited in MNHN ( Figs. 36–37 View FIGURES 36 – 40 ). — PARALECTOTYPES: with same label as [1] (2 ɗɗ 1 Ψ, MNHN; one of the males were dissected, pygophore and right paramere are mounted on card, phallus is preserved in plastic microvial with glycerol, pinned with the specimen).

Discussion. Poecilocoris separabilis was described from Guizhou province of China and as far as we are aware it has never been reported again after its original description. Dissection of one male paralectotype and direct comparison to “typically” coloured specimens of P. l e w i s i from China and Taiwan revealed that its genitalia does not differ from those of the latter species. As a consequence, it is regarded as conspecific with the latter and it is placed in the synonymy of P. l e w i s i.
