Sisyrnophorus Waterhouse, 1876: 125 , type species: Sisyrnophorus maculatus Waterhouse, 1876 (synonymized by Lohde, 1900: 97).

Sisynophorus [sic!]: Lewis, 1891: 210 (misspelling).
