Material examined. INDONESIA: WESTERN NEW GUINEA: 309 ♂♂ 186 ♀♀: Irian Jaya , Paniai Province, Bilogay. 2100–2200 m a.s.l. 29.12.1995. A. Riedel leg. (cSh, NMW) .

Remarks. Xanthonomus guineensis was recently described from Western New Guinea, Indonesia. The material above originated from the type locality provided in Shavrin (2024a).
