TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, South Australia, Coorong .

DISTRIBUTION: Formerly SE South Australia and adjacent Victoria.

STATUS: IUCN - Extinct.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Notamacropus . Almost certainly extinct ( Kirsch and Calaby, 1977:22; Ride, 1970:47).
