Apteranabropsis murayamai : Sugimoto & Ichikawa, 1998, Gekkan-Mushi, 329: 25, 27.
Paterdecolyus murayamai : Ichikawa, 2002, Tettigonia , 4: 29, 32.
Melanabropsis murayamai : Wang & Liu, 2020, Zootaxa, 4809 (3): 518.
Material examined. ♀, Japan, Ishigaki Island , Mount Omoto, 23-Ⅹ-2014 .
Notes. The type locality of this species, Ishigaki Island , is the closest among known species to Taiwan Island, but morphologically it is more similar to species from Okinawa Island , which indicates that the dispersal pathway is not from Hainan Island or Taiwan Island to the Ryukyu Islands. Further investigations are needed to determine if there are any additional differences, such as habitat, between these species .
Distribution. Japan (Yaeyama Islands).
