Type locality: [ Brazil, Bahia] Villa de Barra [Blanchet]. Syntypes: MHNG-INVE-91238 (2 + subadults) ( Pleuroceridae ) [ Fig. 11 View Figs 7-13 ].

– Remarks. Some specimens, presumably from the original series, were apparently sent to J.C. Anthony, and are now in the MCZ collection (MCZ 74780). NMB 1171a (5) and NMB 1171b (5) are additional syntypes.
