A total of 247 species and subspecies from 36 genera belonging to three subfamilies Ceropalinae , Pepsinae and Pompilinae from Pompilidae were recorded in Turkey up to now. Separately, the type localities of 22 species and seven subspecies from Pompilidae are situated in Turkey ( ÖZBEK et al. 1999, 2000).
