Description. Crown ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ) light yellow. Pronotum and scutellum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ) dirty yellow. Area around ocelli yellow. Eyes dark with some yellow, ocelli light red and near translucent ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ). Face ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ) yellow, marginal and middle area of frontoclypeus black, anteclypeus yellowish black. Forewings ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ) gray yellow and translucent, veins gray black. Hindwings ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ) gray.
Male pygofer ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 – 10 ) longer than high, conically produced caudally. Subgenital plate ( Figs 5, 9 View FIGURES 5 – 10 ) elongate, with nine macrosetae on submedial row and several long setae near apex. Aedeagus ( Figs 6–7 View FIGURES 5 – 10 ) somewhat tubular; dorsal apodeme’s ventral margin somewhat smooth; the processes on side of aedeagal shift with three small spicules lamellate on ventral submargin, spacing of two contiguous spicules uneven; aedeagal ventral processes slender, curved, longer than shaft. Female slightly longer than male; general coloration of female as in male.
Measurement. Length (including tegmen): 3, 6.6mm; Ƥ, 7.1mm.
Type material. Holotype 3, CHINA: Yunnan, Longling, 25 July 2002, coll. Li Zizhong. Paratypes: 1Ƥ, Yunnan, Longling, 24 July 2002, coll. Li Zizhong.
Host plant. Unknown.
Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality.
