WL: 17mm. Found mainly in semi-deciduous forests, D. hymen is distributed from Senegal to Cameroon. The caterpillars feed on several species of Alchornea (Euphorbiaceae) , typically colonized by Oecophylla ants.

Studied material. Cacheu: Caió (JB), several specimens.
