35. Leptosia wigginsi pseudalcesta Bernardi, 1965
WL: 23mm. The species is similar to L. medusa , but differs in the white ground-colour which is opaque rather than translucent. The black marginal band on the hindwing is quite narrow. The present subspecies flies from Senegal to Cameroon. The caterpillars are known to occur on Capparaceae .
