Lectotype (Wood & al. in Kew Bull. 38: 455. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 28.7 ( LINN) .

Current name: Hypoestes sp. ( Acanthaceae ).

Note: Wood & al. were unable to match the Linnaean type with any known species of Hypoestes .
