“É poco frequente e lo si prende soltanto nel siti di pesca dell’isolato di Neandros allorquando adoperarsi, special- mente nei mesi di marzo, aprile e maggio, le grandi sciabiche per scombri, ed alle quali al aggiungono le tasche o sacchi proprie per la pesca delle acciughe. Però raramente capita questa specie sul mercato di Costantinopoli, poi- ché data la poca quantità che no vien pressa, viene consumata sul luogo.
