Current name: Gastridium ventricosum (Gouan) Schinz & Thell. ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Linnaeus ( Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 2: 1676. 1763) subsequently placed Agrostis ventricosa Gouan (1762) in the synonymy of M. lendigerum , Gouan’s name was published in April 1762 and consequently has priority over M. lendigerum (published on 20 Sep 1762).
