8. Draba eriopoda var. kamensis Pohle (1925: 18) View in CoL [ Draba eriopoda Turczaninow ex Ledebour (1841: 154) ].

Type locality indication: “Tib. sept. Fl. Talatscha. 1884 N. M. Prczewalsky. Fl. Dutschii (Fl. Yantze). 1884 N. M. Prczewalsky. Tib. or. Kam. in ditione fl. Yan-ztsy-zsjan: fl. Chitzschju, alt. 14000’. 1900 W. F. Ladygin no. 238. Planities elevata Kam. Traj. Taposchan, inter Tatsienlu et Lifanfu. 1893. Potanin. 1893. Kaschkarow”.

Lectotype (designated here) or perhaps holotype:— CHINA. [Xizang], Kam (Tibet): basin of Yan-tszy-tszyan (Golubaya) River , fl. Khi-tchu. 14.000 ft, on slopes... 12 July 1900, [fl. prim.], V. F. Ladygin 238 [originally in Russian] ( LE!).

Pohle (1925) reported D. eriopoda var. kamensis only from Tibet where D. eriopoda var. eriopoda (as “var. genuina Pohle ”) was also said to occur and the varieties were not specified in the citation of syntypes. Unfortunately, only the specimen collected by Ladygin was found by us and colleagues at LE; it is annotated by the author, agrees morphologically with D. eriopoda var. kamensis , and thus definitely represents original material of this taxon. Unless other specimens are found (probably they are currently misplaced), it is impossible to say whether Ladygin’s collection was the only element of original material of D. eriopoda var. kamensis , and that is why it is treated here as the lectotype or perhaps holotype.
