Diagnosis. The male genitalia of this new species are similar to those of D. symmetrica Park & Hodges, 1995 . It can be separated from D. symmetrica by the valva being broader in the distal half, the vinculum having short triangular lateral lobes, and the aedeagus having two sclerotized lobes from the zone; in D. symmetrica , the valva is obviously narrowed distally, the vinculum lacks the lateral lobes, and the aedeagus has one sclerotized lobe from the zone ( Park & Hodges, 1995: 20, Figs 11, 12 View FIGURES 8 – 13 , Pl. B: Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ).
Description. Adult ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ) wingspan 16.0–18.0 mm. Head grey, frons pale grey, yellowish white behind antenna. Ocellus absent. Labial palpus with second segment about 2.5 times length of diameter of eye, with triangular scale tuft on dorsal surface, third segment with scales on ventral surface; first and second segments grey on outer surface, yellowish white on inner surface, second segment dirty white apically; third segment dark ochreous, white apically. Antenna with scape greyish brown on dorsal surface, yellowish white on ventral surface; flagellum alternately brown and dark brown on dorsal surface, yellow on ventral surface. Thorax dark brown except grey medially and laterally; tegula grey; mesothorax with yellow hair pencils arising from anepisternum in male. Forewing with costal margin conspicuously concave medially, sharp at apex, termen concave beneath apex; ground color greyish yellow, with scattered dark brown scales, with ill-defined large diffused patch at basal 1/3 formed by denser dark brown scales, dark brown at apex and along termen; large inverted triangular yellowish brown spot at middle of costal margin, posteriorly reaching outer margin of cell at middle; fringe pale yellow in basal 1/4, ochreous brown from basal 1/4 to middle, dark brown in distal half. Hindwing dark grey except yellow in distal half of costal margin; fringe dark grey except pale yellow in basal 1/4 and dark grey in distal 3/4 around apex. Legs ochreous on outer surface, yellowish white on inner surface, tarsi dark brown on outer surface except tarsomeres white apically. Abdomen with dorsal surface dark brown, lateral side ochreous, ventral surface yellow except dark brown at end of each segment, apex yellow.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20 – 25 ). Uncus short, rounded on posterior margin, concave in semicircle on anterior margin ventrally, with a broad sclerotized longitudinal ridge medially on ventral surface. Gnathos curved at basal 2/5, sharp at apex; culcitula semicircular, spinous. Valva slightly longer than tegumen-uncus complex; basal half narrow, sides sub-parallel, abruptly expanded ventrally at middle, nearly forming a right angle; distal half inconspicuously narrowed to rounded apex; valvella digitate, with sparse setae, approximately 1/4 length of valva. Setose patch absent. Vinculum height less than length of tegumen-uncus complex; lateral lobes arising from basal 2/3 of vinculum arm, short, sub-triangular, rounded apically. Saccal region nearly straight anteriorly. Sicae fused for 1/4 length before separated in U shape; lateral lobes with short setae near apex, with two or three small horned processes near base ventrally, asymmetrical: left lobe shorter than right lobe, right lobe reaching basal 1/4 of vinculum arm. Aedeagus shuttle-shaped; three sclerotized lobes from zone: lateral lobe slender, reaching before apex of aedeagus, with triangular process at basal half; other two lobes arising from ventral surface, longer lobe semicircular, about 1/4 length of aedeagus, shorter lobe broad basally, tapering towards apex, curved outward at middle, forming a right angle.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 31 – 34 ). Apophyses anteriores stout, stubby, apophyses posteriores slender. Eighth tergite with posterior margin convex. Antrum sub-rectangular, gently concave at middle on anterior and posterior margins. Ductus bursae strongly sclerotized, with sclerotized pleats anteriorly, with apex-rounded membranous process from middle of ventral surface; ductus seminalis arising from near middle of dorsal surface. Corpus bursae oval, with a broad spinous zone anteriorly on ventral surface; accessory bursae arising from middle of spinous region.
Distribution. Cambodia (Mondul Kili), China (Hainan).
Etymology. The specific name is from the type locality.
