Current name: Medicago polymorpha L. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: The lectotype is Morison’s f. 13, not f. 19 as cited by Linnaeus or f. 18 as given by Morison (cf. Heyn (in Bull. Res. Council Israel, Sect. D, Bot. 7: 168, 173. 1959).
