Female holotype from BRAZIL: São Paulo: Barueri: " 14.XII.1954 \ Baru eri \ S[ão]. Paulo", "K. Lenko - leg.", "[red label, Sakakibara’s handwriting] HOLOTYPUS \ Atypa selligera \ A.M. Sakakibara 19 70 ". Holotype pinned through right side of the body, in excellent state of preservation.
