Comments. Ten species of Leptusa are known from GSMNP. Despite the revision by Park et al. (2010) some specimens could only be reliably identified to genus. Range: eastern United States. Habitat: forest leaf litter, rotten wood. Collection Method: sifting/Berlese leaf litter, and collected from dead wood with emergence chamber. Biology: unknown. Present Study: indifferent to substrate, forest type and season. This is almost certainly a reflection of the habits of multiple species represented by these specimens.
