Range: mostly midwest, northeast, and southeastern United States. Habitat: forest floor litter, moss, tree holes, rotting logs, and other moist habitats. Collection method: sifting/Berlese litter, pitfalls, flight intercept traps, UV lights, looking under stones. Biology: adults and immatures feed on oribatid mites. Present study: only Euconnus (Napochus) sp. was found in significantly higher abundance in leaf litter and secondary forest.
