Material examined. IRAN: Fars, Sepidan, loc . 10, 23.vi. 2010, (1 ♂) (in JIAU).
Distribution. Widely distributed in Palaearctic and also recorded from the Oriental ( India, Vietnam) and Australasian regions.
Hosts. This parasitoid belongs to the minuta species group as defined by Delvare & Huchet (2017) and includes primary parasitoids of synanthropic flies, for example B. minuta , and rarely secondary parasitoids of Orthoptera or Lepidoptera through tachinid or sarcophagid Diptera (Steffan 1959; Delvare & Huchet 2017). Nevertheless, it has previously been reported in Iran as a parasitoid of Lymantria dispar (Linnaeus, 1758) ( Lepidoptera , Lymantriidae ) (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2012).
