Material examined. IRAN: Fars, Kohmare, loc . 11, 08.v. 2010, (7 ♀, 5 ♂) (in JIAU and CIRAD: GDEL0378 and GDEL0379).
Distribution. This species is widely distributed in the Oriental and Palaearctic regions and was also introduced in North America for the control of Lymantria dispar .
Hosts. The species was reared from a number of lepidopterous hosts mostly living in arboreal habitats (Noyes 2017). In Iran, it was reared from Pandemis in Azarbaijan and Ocneria joeniteris [ Ocneria signatoria poenitens Stgr. ] ( Lepidoptera , Lymantriidae ) on Tamarix and Pistacia atlantica subsp. mutica in the Kerman province (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2012).
