Material examined. IRAN: Fars, Larestan, Nime, loc. 6, 15.viii.2112, (1 ♀) (in JIAU). Distribution. Palaearctic: widely distributed in Europe and often collected there, reaching Central Asia in the East of its distribution.
Hosts. According to Bouček (1961, 1972), the hosts are Coleoptera ( Anobiidae : Ptininae and Tenebrionidae : Lagriinae ). In Iran, H. rufipes has previously been collected by sweeping on Fabaceae in a pomegranate orchard (Rajabi et al. 2011).
