Habitat in Syria, Arabia, Lybia, Africa.
Spina sub humeris armatur, maxima Avium; Palpebra utraque ciliata. Exterior digitus muticus. Pennae lanatae pro galeis bellicis cristaque castrensi. Ova saepe 50, candida, laevia, in arena excludenda deserta. Job. 39: 16.
