Material examined. Holotype. “1226.”, round label: “C.G.H.”, on the back: “42 47”, “a. Cape ”, “266. Capsus solitus ”, round label with green border “Type”, female ( BMNH).
Taxonomic notes. This species is known only from single female. A condition of the holotype is very poor and does not allow dissecting the genitalia without the threat of destruction of the specimen. This species is transferred into Proboscidocoris on the basis of claws toothed basally ( Fig. 19 P View FIGURE 19 ) and clearly elongated and strongly pointed preocular part of the head ( Fig. 27 D, F View FIGURE 27 ).
