Chrysis grandior Pallas, 1771: 474 . Holotype ♂; Russia (ZMB, examined).
Distribution. Uzbekistan ( Radoszkowski 1889). Widespread in the Western Palaearctic region ( Kimsey & Bohart 1991). The record cited by Radoszkowski (1889) was considered doubtfull already by Semenov-Tian-Shanskij (1912) and very likely refers to one of the other Parnopes species described subsequently.
