The pectinata View in CoL -group
The pectinata -group has a sister relation to ( hamata - + ( convolutiva - ( advena - + decorata -group))). Representatives of the pectinata -group can be recognized by the poorly developed dorsal pattern on the opisthosoma and by the peculiar genital structures. Posterior ventral spines are cylindrical, elongate, and apically sharply pointed ( Figs 390–391 View FIGURES 387–391. 387–388, 391 ). Males can be distinguished by the following autapomorphies: the TA carrying a peculiar prolateral extension (Ch. 83, state 2) and by the membranous apical groove instead of a rostrated apico-prolateral process (Ch. 82, state 4). Females can be recognized by the epigynal plate with an anterior median tubercle and by the spermathecae anteriorly strongly convoluted.
