Taxonomic note: Only ‘1919’ is printed on the cover of the issue 1–2 of volume 61 of ‘Tijdschrift voor Entomologie’, in which is the article by Hermann Schmitz ‘Neue Beiträge zur Kenntnis der Sciariden mit reduzierten Maxillarpalpen’, which is incorrect. On the 2nd page of the cover there is the following entry that was not recorded to date: ‘Aflevering 1 en 2 (blz. 1–142) uitgegeven 15 Juli 1918 ’ [= ‘Entries 1 and 2 (pages 1–142) issued on 15 July 1918 ’]. After that the original descriptions of Hyperlasion Schmitz und Hyperlasion wasmanni Schmitz are correctly dated as 1918.
