Material examined: IR12, Mazandaran Province, Nowshahr, 32°43’N 50°27’E, ca. 10 km E Chalus, pond, 6 m asl, 20.07.2003 (0/2/0); IR36, Isfahan Province, pool near Kuhrang river between Komitak and Ghale Shahrokh cities, 32°43’N 50°27’E, ca. 2100 m asl, 2 August 2003 (1/0/0); Markazi Province, Pool e Doob stream, 15 km after Shahzand city, ca. 1780 m asl, leg. Vafaei (2/1/0); IR14 Mazandaran Province, Elburs Mt., Valasht Lake (along Valasht road), temperature 22 ºC, 21 July 2003 (0/3/0).

Distribution: Palaearctic.

Remarks: New for the fauna of Iran.
