Remarks.
In Macau, adults are active only in mid to late spring and range in total length 10-15 mm and 4-6 mm in maximum width. They are both nocturnal, being readily attracted to artificial lights, and diurnal, crawling and mating on dead tree branches and trunks. In Hong Kong, larvae have been found boring into various trees, including Mallotus philippensis , Morus alba and Prunus persica ( Yiu 2009). Other reported host plants include Bauhinia vahlii and Prunus armeniaca ( Lin and Yang 2019).
