Habitat in Truncis exsiccatis Europae australis, quos perforat, longitudinaliter excavat, ibique plures nidos a fundo incipiens polline herbarum melle mixto replet & unicuique ovum concredit. Nidi distingvuntur 4 l. 5 annulis ligneis. Nymphae caput deorsum spectat ut in fundo exitum quaerat Apis perfecta.
