Wings up to 8 mm wide, with an apical spine up to 10 mm. Leaves with 8-12 pairs of lobes each with an apical spine up to 12 mm. All involucral bracts subequal, arachnoid-ciliate to glabrescent, smooth on the back. S. Albania and N. Greece.
