Like 7 but usually less than 10cm; capitula solitary; ligules purplish; involucral bracts strongly pubescent; filiform female florets rather few. • S.W. part of Balkan peninsula', C. Appennini. Al Gr It Ju.

Plants occur in Italy which apparently intergrade with 7.
