Like 17 but leaves up to 1-7 cm wide, usually 2-serrate, densely puberulent and glandular-punctate on both surfaces; involucre 4-8 mm in diameter; bracts often subglabrous; ligules c. 3 mm. 2/7=18. Damp grassland, river-banks and scrub. U.S.S.R., extending locally westwards to E. Germany and S.W. Romania. Ge Po Rm Rs (N, B, C, W, K, E) [Fe].
