Stems 10-40 cm, simple, erect, densely brownish-pubescent above. Leaves 2-5 cm, simple, spathulate, serrulate, glandular-punctate, glabrous to pubescent, sessile. Corymbs with 10-30 capitula; peduncles c. 5 mm. Involucre 5-8 mm in diameter; bracts c. 3 mm, ovate, subacute, with a dark brown margin. Ligules c. 3
