Stems 30-80 cm, erect or ascending, muchbranched above. Leaves 30-100 x 2-4 mm, linear, obtuse, entire, patent; axillary clusters of small leaves present. Inflorescence usually capitate. Corolla pink; tube 6-9 mm; spur 2-4 mm. Screes and rocky places, mainly in the mountains. • S. & E. France, N. W. Switzerland, N. & C. Italy. Ga He It.
