Hairy biennial. Stem up to 70 cm or more, erect, striate. Basal leaves entire, linear-lanceolate; cauline linear, acuminate. Inflorescence long, interrupted at the base, many-flowered. Calyx-teeth ovate-acuminate, c. i as long as the infundibuliform corolla. Corolla
