Leaves up to 9 x 2 cm, all basal, oblanceolate, obtuse to acute, narrowed to base, unequally shallowly lobed or coarsely toothed, with fine, pale brown glandular hairs. Capitulum solitary. Involucre 12-14 x 6 mm; bracts linear-lanceolate, acute, the outer | as long as inner, with numerous, long, pale glandular hairs.
