Stems 5-20(-25) cm. Leaves glabrous or sparsely hairy; basal 3-15 x 0-2-1 -7 cm, oblanceolate to linear, entire to pinnatifid; cauline like basal, distant. Capitula 1-6. Outer involucral bracts unequal, as long as inner. Achenes 4-5 x 0-75-1 mm, light brown or yellowish, fusiform, slightly attenuate at both ends, 10- to 15(-20)-ribbed. Calcicele. • E. Alps, Carpathians and mountains of N. W. part of Balkan peninsula. Al Au Cz Ge He It Ju Po Rm.
