Stems up to 60 cm. Lower leaves lyrate-pinnatisect. Capitula in clusters. Involucre 8x4 mm, ovoid; appendages very narrowly decurrent, shortly fimbriate. Achenes grey; pappus absent. W. Italy, from prov. Carrara to prov. Grossato, and inland to Firenze.
