Subfamily Monographinae
Parsimony analyses show Monographinae ( Monographis , Unixenus , Eudigraphis ) to be paraphyletic ( Figure 3 View Figure 3 ) whereas the ML analysis ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 ) indicates monophyly of the group (BS <50%). This may be partly a result of the incompleteness of the molecular data set, with only CO1 sequences available for the six Eudigraphis specimens.
Mean pairwise distances between the genera Monographis and Unixenus are 17.3% (COI) and 1.2% (18S), between Monographis and Eudigraphis 17.4% (COI only) and between Unixenus and Eudigraphis 15.5% (COI only).
