HOLOTYPE: AMNH 564039 About AMNH , adult male, collected on New Hanover Island, 02°35′S, 150°10′E ( Papua New Guinea General Reference Map , 1984), New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea, on 21 February 1923, by Albert F. COMMENTS: Hartert (1924b: 208) cited Meek’s number of the type in the original description and stated that he had four male and four female specimens (including the type). The paratypes are now AMNH 564040–564046.
