Artbeschreibung: Stängel 10-70 cm hoch, kurz behaart, unten +/- rund. Mittlere Blätter zu 8-12 im Quirl, schmal-lineal, stachelspitzig, Ränder umgerollt, mit vorwärts gerichteten Stachelchen. Krone mit spitzen Zipfeln, Durchmesser 2-4 mm. Früchte ca. 1,5 mm hoch, +/- glatt, meist kahl.
