Lectotype (Bowden in Canad. J. Bot. 43: 286. 1965): Herb. Linn. No. 81.4 ( LINN) .

Current name: Phleum alpinum L. ( Poaceae ).

Note: Humphries (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 76: 338. 1978) designated a Lapland specimen, collected by Linnaeus and now in the Institut de France, as the lectotype. However, the earlier choice by Bowden of a collection in LINN has priority.
