Measurements (in mm based on 1♂ from Baranmyeon, Hwaseong­si, Gyeonggi­do). Body length 1.76; Carapace 0.94 long, 0.66 wide; ALE­ALE 0.57, PLE­PLE 0.62, ALE­PLE 0.45, ALE­PME 0.23, AME diameter 0.19, ALE/AME 0.57, ALE/PLE 0.92, PME/PLE 0.27; Chelicera 0.19 long, 0.13 wide; Endite 0.14 long, 0.03 wide; Labium 0.07 long, 0.14 wide; Sternum 0.39 long, 0.20 wide; Legs I 1.48 (0.44, 0.64, 0.21, 0.19), II 1.06 (0.21, 0.46, 0.18, 0.21), III 1.19 (0.39, 0.37, 0.22, 0.21), IV 1.52 (0.47, 0.52, 0.29, 0.24); Abdomen 0.82 long, 0.60 wide.

Description. Male: Carapace pale yellowish brown, quadrangle, longer than wide, thoracic margin blackish brown. Ceivical furrow indistinct, radial furrow blackish brown, longitudinal fovea reddish brown, short needle shaped. Eye area surrounded with black, clothed with white hairs. Chelicerae infuscate, small and weak, no marginal tooth. Endite dull and pale yellowish brown. Labium dull and pale yellowish brown. Sternum yellowish white, converted pyriform ( Fig. 1B). Legs yellowish white, short and robust, well developed, prolateral surface of femora, patellae, tibiae and metatarsi of leg I blackish brown, distal ends of femora and tibiae dark, leg spiniformation; I (tibia 2­2­2­0v, metatarsus (2­2v) ( Fig. 1C), II (metatarsus 0­1p), III (metatarsus 0­2v, 0­1p), leg formula 4132. Abdomen ovoid, yellowish brown, longer than wide, dorsum with a pair of blackish brown longitudinal stripes laterally, blackish brown longitudinal stripes anteriomedianly and a few blackish brown indistinct transverse stripe posteriorly, venter yellowish white ( Fig. 1A). Spinnerets yellowish white. Male palp with triangular retrolateral tibial apophysis with pointed tip. Embolus widely curved at base and coiled at apex, conductor dark yellowish brown ( Fig. 1 D­F).

Material examined. 1♂, 19­VI­1983, Yeongdong­gun, Chungcheongbuk­do (MS Im leg.); 3♂♂, 09­IV­2001, Baran­myeon, Hwaseong­si, Gyeonggi­do (ST Kim leg.); 1♂, 28­VII­2001, Baran­myeon, Hwaseong­si, Gyeonggi­do (ST Kim leg.); 1♂, 19­VIII­2003, Girancheon, Andong­si, Gyeongsangbuk­do (ST Kim leg.).

Distribution. Korea (new record), China, Japan.

Remarks. This species was collected with pitfall traps around streamside.
