Originally described as Lasiochilus . Author examined specimens of this species and can confirm that it belongs to Dilasia . The presence of spines on hindtibiae in this species, D. denigrata and D. contorta and probably other (from the Old World) may justify regarding them as a new subgenus of Dilasia .
