Lasiochilus mesostenus Herring, 1967

( Micronesia)

The classification of these two species is doubtful because of the following characters: left paramere small, widened at base and ending in a “finger-like projection” or a “needlelike point”, “all femorae swollen” and the ostiolar peritreme “short, abruptly curved backward at apical third”. The left paramere is similar to that of species in the new genus Anaelia but the ostiolar peritreme is different.
