Gonatopus lankanus Olmi 2003: 39 .

Description of Female. Apterous; length 4.8 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; clypeus testaceous, except brown central spot; face black, except narrow testaceous anterior stripe near clypeus; antenna brown, except segments 6–8 testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except anterior side of procoxa, posterior side of protrochanter, tarsi and stalk of metafemur testaceous. Antenna slightly clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 9:7:24:16:12.5:10:8.5:7:6:9. Head ( Plate 128C View PLATE 128 ) very excavated, shiny, weakly granulated, with numerous parallel and longitudinal fine striae on frons and occiput; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, only present behind ocellar triangle; POL = 1; OL = 1.5; OOL = 11. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, with anterior collar and disc shiny, smooth and unsculptured. Scutum shiny, sculptured by many longitudinal striae, laterally with two pointed apophyses. Scutellum shiny, smooth, inclined. Mesopleuron transversely striate. Metanotum transversely striate and slightly hollow behind scutellum. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, with disc and anterior surface unsculptured; posterior surface and metapleura transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 19:4:8:24:36. Enlarged claw ( Plate 128D View PLATE 128 ) with one small subapical tooth and one row of five peg-like hairs, in addition to one bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 128D View PLATE 128 ) with two rows of 18 + 21 lamellae; distal apex with about 16 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
